The story (in non-spoiler form):
Lufia I starts off with four warriors: Maxim, Selan, Guy, and Artea face the four evil Sinistrals who want
to destroy the world, defeating them. It then skips one hundred years, and they are returning to try again.
Now Maxim's descendent and his mysterious childhood friend Lufia take a journey of their own. They are joined
in their quest by Aguro and Jerin to defeat the Sinistrals once again. But a surprising twist
waits for them when they realize just how close one of the Sinistrals has gotten.
